Soney Fabrics was established in 1988 in Karur in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. We began our journey as a supplier of home furnishing products and materials in the Indian market, and in 1991 we took the next big step by exporting made-ups and fabrics suitable for home and commercial use in various blends such as Cotton, Linen, Jute, Viscose, Acrylic, Polyester, Chenille et al; on well-rounded range of modern life style products as Decorative cushion & Throws, Bed & Bath, Kitchen & Table linens, Beach & Yoga accessories, Living & Outdoor linens and Kids accessories, across various countries in Europe and USA. Over 30 years of varied experience and expertise has helped us to sustain and deliver the best in what we do, and we are determined to be characterized by our passion and innovative spirit as we constantly strive to fulfil our vision. Design team
Our exclusive in-house and Swedish designers create a set of new collections each season encapsulating the current trend, with a mass appeal, to express the modern sensibility in design and fabric textures. Our team comprises of well-qualified professionals working on various design platforms to include designs that remain evergreen by providing continuity for both new and existing collections.
Sustainability
We understand the role of our products in the market and its impact on the environment in manufacturing textile materials. Therefore, we have considered different ways to reduce waste and reuse available resource in production, and below are the ways in which we uphold the spirit of responsible production :
- 1. At dyeing and printing units, the water is reused after removing the toxic chemicals by Reverse osmosis process. Further, the dyed water and print waste are collected the storage tanks as sludge and given to cement factories as basic compound ingredients.
- 2. At weaving and stitching units, the unit runs partly on solar energy; the excess and waste materials are sent to the cotton mills for further processing and made into recycled yarn.
